Getting Started with Thriftly Developer¶

Thriftly Developer contains a suite of tools that developers can use to transform pre-existing desktop application functions into fully functional web APIs.

To get started with Thriftly Developer and begin creating your own APIs, you must:

Install and license Thriftly Developer (using the instructions in the Installing and Licensing Thriftly Developer section).
Review our example application and APIs and create a couple basic APIs of your own (using the instructions in the Creating Thriftly APIs from Your Application section).
Run and test your APIs (using the instructions in the Testing Your Thriftly API section).

After that, you’ll know all you need to start creating basic APIs from the functions included in your own applications. If you’re ready to get started, click the Next button below.
